DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/08/2008 11:37:38 By Billy, Tim, Steve, Gaston & MANY Others
This is to start a new Doozie thread - for our next scheduled Memorial Golf Tourney in 2009...

Tim TDT65

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/08/2008 04:00:46 By Billy, Tim, Steve, Gaston & MANY Others
In the past, the DOOZIE has been scheduled for the 'in-between' weekend after Mothers Day and before Memorial Day. The advantages of this time in May are lower rates (off season) at the hotels and courses apply, the crowds are fewer in between these weekends and there is little impact with the STAGS Doozie interfering with everyone's family and/or Holiday activities.

Scheduling DOOZIE III at the same time next year would make the dates of DOOZIE III May 15, 16, 17 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday 2009.

The scheduling 'committee' (also and otherwise known as the 'Dating committee'; which takes care of scheduling and dating activities (everything from soup your nuts).

We would like some input NOW about scheduling these dates in cement, snow, and or salt water -
Naming the actual dates now this far in advance will allow EVERYONE ample time to plan their weekend with your Stags Brothers, for a wonderful weekend of fun.... in remembrance of all our Brothers who are no longer with us...

The ever important 'format' - which will be generated from 'Geronimo' has been submitted to the Atlanta Center for Disease Control. This may take quite awhile to get the results of the study --- so hold on... we have faith and we still have plenty of time at this point for the 'format' to evolve into a real thing...

WE WANT A LARGE TURNOUT OF STAGS GOLFERS, NON-GOLFERS, BIG AND LITTLE EATERS AND DRINKERS - People with IDEAS, people with gift of gab that can let it loose in any situation... Lots of laughter and just a few tears is what it is all about...

We also really wish to have numerous ('lots of') RICH people who are VERY generous (we may have to work on that one for quite awhile) so we will plan and will hold the event even without any rich people ... EVERY STAG IS INVITED FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE (meaning you can be there with or without walkers)...

We have a ways to go for the cementing everything together but we have experience now - we know what to expect, we know what you want and don't want, we know your phone number and where you live bubba! So start posting in - we don't care what year you were a Stag - we are all old and cranky and ready for blood... ready for birdies, pars and eagles...

Post your thoughts - lets hear some ideas about the dates - speak now or forever be silent (Not the right quote but we did not like the 'hold your peace' part)... This event is a war with a bit of peace thrown in for those who get sick; no one has drowned - yet...

Love, Tim TDT65

Thanks TimY, You would make a good elementary teacher. Or maybe a Director in a geriatric clinic.

Jerry,

Timmy as an elementary teacher???? Are you out of your freakin mind?? The only venue for Timmy's ramblings is the Doozie thread. He is no doubt a good guy, and an outstanding brother, but between you and I, he is clearly out of his tree, one card shy of a full deck, several bricks shy of a full load or however you want to describe it, clearly not material to teach anyone, not even Jerry's Kidz.

In the Stags brotherhood, only Geronimo has the ability to instantly deliver the bullcrap that Timmy can summon in an instant on any subject. If you want him teaching your kids, that's up to you. But before you make that decision, you have to see some of the totally weird pictures of grossly obese women he sends me regularly. I'm not at all sure about his qualifications to teach anybody, anything except the jaded has beens that frequent this site, like me. That being said, he is the man I want to hang out with and frequent honky tonks with. Particularly if nekid women are involved, and my partner Billy is watching my back. They are much more fun than Geronimo, who as you know is always crying about something, and trying to find an excuse to run back to Miami, especially after he gets his ass handed to him. Timmy takes it all in stride, and handles defeat like the trooper he is. The same can't be said about others of the Apache minded bretheren What I'm trying to say is, whether you are an Indian, or a trooper, bring your best game, be it golf, BS, or whatever to Doozie III . You will need it.

I also want you weak tits who keep making excuses not to come to the Doozie, we know you, feel for you, but will carry on like rock stars in your absence. Your loss. WE won't beg anymore.

Sign up early, we plan to rock on in St Lucie, with or without you.
Mucho Amore,
El Tigre

Jerry

The names that were mention in my posting were all the Doozie Golf Committee FOR THIS YEAR and had nothing to DO with "leaving anyone out" except you......OF COURSE.....

Miss you brother....your never at home any more ... I have called several times to no avail....I gave up......I have tried to avoid my computer, but I guess in today's world one must conform to the in-thing...it's great, but it sucks also.....takes the personal touch out of it.

Thanks for the good work Mr. Yero. Please keep us posted.

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/11/2008 08:28:53 By Tim Yero
It is nice to see that Steve and Jerry are back to their old ways, slamming everyone but themselves. It also appears we are finally again on the road to another fine, vocal and fun event -the DOOZIE III.

Don't feel left out Steve and Jerry... Steve: You won the last 2 Doozies (except for when John and geronimo beat you so bad you wimpered all the way back to Kentucky) and have received more space, trophies, free meals and housing to last a lifetime (just ask Billy - that's what he said)! Jerry was a virgin last Doozie(the Doozie 2 was his first)... so he gets no additional menbtions until he suffers through at least 1 or 2 more Doozies - nothing, nada, nix... or in tennis - love!

Hey Stevie (my fine player brother who will loose the Doozie III to yours truly): I have asked several shrinks (usually in a bar after several drinks) and they say I am not nuts - I asked them and they said I just have a wildly vivid imagination, as displayed by my earlier music background (writing music as well as playing many instruments-and other 'artistic' gifts).

So, in this regard I think I would make an excellent teacher... the problem is I would probably kill some of the parents due to their lack of support and all the b.s. about no spanking the kids (I also have a Army/Nam background which seeps in once in awhile!)...
So I would not last long as a teacher!

Anyway, my kids turned out o.k. which stands well for my overall teaching ability - my older son has been a technician with AT&T since 1989 and has 3 kids (None in jail or gangs)... my younger son is an airline pilot and is only 24 years old -no drugs, just good guys - like real Stags! So I have done o.k. inspite of being more strict than any of you may have been.

So - let he slander flow... the Doozie III is well on the way and will be upon us. We need to shoot everyone down who needs to be put in their place before it happens; So they get really pumped up and beat everyone to a pulp (on the golfcourse - of course!)..

What about the fishing? can we work it in on Friday a.m.?? fish fry Friday night? (The chili from the Doozie II is still at Billy's aging for next year so we don't need anymore of that next year)... Is Friday May 15th 2009 and good Friday to start ? - chime is all you wanna-bees...(except Gaston, no one cares what you think)
ha, ha.

We need some old guys, some 50's guys, some guys that have not been at a Doozie yet - we know you all play golf because you are all rich and still wear white belts and stretch polyester pants with golf shirts... don't be whimps - come out and play...

Tim TDT65

Don't worry, El Bare Butt de Norte and his distant friend (unless upwind !) Jerry aka Jerry,
are planning a mini- gathering. No doubt some insults will result. I try to encourage rather than discourage.

Timmy,
Let the games begin. Practice, practice, Practice. I will be checking the Doozie III site but for the real nitty gritty, Doozie II will remain my fave. Nothing personal, and I'm glad I got the bs rolling, now if Geronimo will get his head out of his ass, and rid himself of the complete funk that the asswhuppin he took at Doozie II left him in, we can get the fur flying and have some fun.

Buckbean you are expected in Kentucky soon. Please call me. Billy please tell Timmy to lighten up and dig deeper for his true teaching form. His last post sounded more like Manny's whining than true Timmy brilliance. The rest of you closet Doozie freaks, sound off.

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/12/2008 12:48:10 By Tim Yero
I'm with you the entire way Steve, however near or far that will take us... all the other Stags have been sleeping in the dew with the wolves since the last Doozer and smoke must begin to rise soon...

maybe if we said something like Geronimo sucks, or fishboy needs to step up and send out some love once in awhile that would work? Maybe not... I do hope they all play again and can be beaten by all three of the initial instigators - Billy, you and me... I do not think that will be a problem.

Gaston said he is now so good at golf he plays with people other than his former crowd - he makes deals on the course with big money people and is doing just fine. He even misses a few shots along the way just so they can get close to winning (but shuts the door at the end every time).. Geronimo may have to come up with a new 'format' that puts Gaston in the game by himself, just to make things even again...

Don't you think Jerry is being too serious? and likes to start problems ? he says he tries to add positive - moving forward stuff - how can that be when he still drives a Mercury Comet (almost brand new)...

and... I don't think Billy knows how to read anymore - they took something else out during the knee operation that has made him less talkative. This too will change. I here he is taking special vitamins to make some important parts grow back a little...

Don't be putting that Trophy on the mantel yet , we still have a long way to go till the Doozie, all you WOOZIES........

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/13/2008 09:37:58 By Tim Yero
Someone tell Steve to post here for the next Doozie instead of old Doozie II thread... he refuses to follow the leader to the new Doozie. I think the format committee will take note of this and should penalize any further posts from him other than on this one...

He was not thinking when he posted. He won't do it again. He will be ok when he sobers up.

Dear Mo RON,
I did reply on Doozie II. Can't you even count. Oops there is that word again. I think the massive quantities of Jack Daniels has rotted you cabeza. Get your shit together, and by the way, El Tigre del Norte does not now, nor has he ever been known take authoritarian dictates kindly. He has never responded well to being told what he has to do. Ask Buckbean, and he will attest to my intransigence in the face of taking orders. Since Santa never came to El Tigre's house, he is truly a rebel without a Claus. El Tigre will reply on whatever fooking thread he feels like at any given moment, and if you don't like it, tough caca for you and the committee.

Since your whining about the fact that all the players who beat you had too many clubs in their bag failed miserably, NOW YOU WANT TO DISQUALIFY ME FOR POSTING ON THE WRONG SITE Get this through your skull. El Tigre will be back to defend the title, and his partner El Oso Grande will be healthy this coming year. No matter how many lessons with the pro you and The Chief pay for, between now and Doozie III, they will be to no avail. You and the rest of the MMA gang will be toyed with, like a cat with a mouse, then completely destroyed. I believe you have a better chance of taking home the chile trophy (the line in Vegas now stands at 100 to 1 against you on that bet), than the trophy that will be won or lost on the links.

To make you happy, I will post my response to your direct orders on both sites. But back off buster, and instead of worrying about silly inconsequential stuff like the location of posts, work on keeping your drives in the short grass, and hitting greens in regulation.

Mucho Amore!

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/14/2008 08:55:09 By Tim Yero
Many indians speak - they are the only messages I understand. The rest is jiberish from Bluegrass Mountain Master... Gaston - you are full of it... no chance next year - stick to the chili, you might win a trophy for the best aged chili.

Billy is back and FYI I am on his side on everything -when he says things like indians and Cubans are all the same, I have to agree...

Yes, women are allowed at the Doozie - we have had a wide variety and many at both Doozies before, after and during the event - ask Herb for directions or flights to the best locations; bring dollar bills (or 5's, 10's and 20's if you are a high roller like some of our past contestants) - it also be quite helpful for you to speak Canadien French like Billy...

It's already started.....it's going to be a long summer and a longer winter..........give hell boys

Dear Timmy

KEEP ME OUT OF YOUR DOG FIGHT......I AM YOUR SLAVE AND I WILL DO WHAT YOU TELL ME......THE OTHERS GUYS .....THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM....

Hell-o Mr. Aggie. I see you haven't lost your gift of gab while in England. They must have tried to take away your freedom while visiting or did you just get a butt chewing from Barb or did you lose being Salesman of the Month....????? Don't let these fools get away with anything...My love to Barb.

Chief, keep taking those lessons, you need them. By the way what did the rest of the tribe have to say about our pow wow??????

.......Where's that ridge runner from TN been lately???????

Where not looking for a law suit for discriminating.....so if you got the "....." girls come on. Some of them might like the "Gentleman's Club".

You can imagine the crap you have stared Gaston ...My phone has been ringing off the hook...as usual....you start the "...." then vacate.

This individual bulshit that Adams covered his ass in the battle of Wounded Knee on Sunday is bullshit!!!!! For the past two years Tigger and Yogi have attempted to discredit the shellacking they received in the tournament by self-crowning one of their own as a consolation winner. The way it happened was witnessed by all there they got what they feared most, a second a good ass whipping at the hands of the boys from 68 and their mascot Doc. In case you forgot the score???? And we’re quoting numbers???? it was 8 under par Mothefolkers!!!!!!

Now you got Gaston GATHERING THE TROOPS ON MY BUTT......I need to make a trip to Miami Land and put you guys straight......So line them up. I'll whip butt on and off the course...WHO'S BUYING THE BEER.

Do indians fish?

Only competition would be biggest fish... no practice required... John D wants to come to the Doozie III for the first time - and fish Friday so indians can eat fish Friday night.. do indians eat fish? John D may bring others for wig wom peace pipe...no format required... might need fishing committee soon..

anyone want to volunteer for fish committee and put this together for the Doozie III??

Squaws will cook fish, clean tables, serve beer, make desert... good idea Gaston...
John D does not play golf - smokes fish...

Re Squaws

Do you guys remember there were two squaws at part of Doozie II - Miss Vicki and myself? You guys were rowdy but great fun. You can keep the golf game for guys only, after all, it is STAGS!!, but let the women party, too!!! Do you think we just like to sit around and twittle our thumbs and listen to your exaggerated bull? Go ahead and tell your stories amongst yourselves and let the women eat, drink and have their fun, too. I've lived with Superman and have heard all the stories as I'm sure many of us squaws have already. You're just a bunch of big boys, that's all.

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournaPosted at 08/15/2008 11:07:12 By steve aguilar Steveaguilar@alltel.net
Dear Geronimo,
You don't want squaws around because you are unable to convince yours to come watch her chief (a brave whose only association with being a Chief is when he buys a Big Chief wrapped tight in plastic in a gas station vending machine), get his ass handed to him in public. Come to think of it she probably is used to that , but simply does not like to be seen in public with a would be leader of braves, who always wants to run back to Miami, every time the going gets tough. Buck up buddy, and just because we bring our lovely ladies to join in the fun, don't try to play it off as a weakness. It only exposes you as a bogus chieftain too embarrassed to bring yours .

El Tigre del Norte not only loves the company of squaws, but backs Gaston heartily in his invitation to all Squaws to come join in the fun. Had there been more ladies committed to attending Doozie !!, Barb might have returned (no disrespect to Miss Vickie). I have also been told there are several whose golf game will stand up up to that of the best players at the Doozie, which unfortunately isn't saying a whole lot for their game.. Janet in particular is reputed to have some serious game.

Ladies, I will go on record as welcoming you with open arms. In my experience, any event not including "Squaws "is a event doomed to boredom by the endless stories of past fights and wold be glory, told and retold by a bunch of well meaning but somehow pathetic bunch of pld swinging dicks. Whether or not you play golf, please come and spend some time with a great bunch of people.

We need you to join us in a great get together of old friends. You will add much to an already great event. Attagirl Dawn!!! Do not take any guff from this bunch. You were a really great addition to Doozie II, as was Superman, my hero, next to Timmy.

Much Love ,
Steve Aguilar

Geronimo, your killing me with your BS.....I'm still laughing ..., but have you looked in the mirror lately. Talk about a man that eats a lot...You need to get some glasses or a piece of candy "it's not for eating, it's just for looking"......

Geronimo, when are we going to find out what the format is for next year????don't wait to the last minute , like your cry baby ass did last year before you decided to play golf. How's your mouthpiece doing...You know who I'm talking about, that Scopetta person or should I say "fish" "mullet".

Just remember what happen to the Indians in the end......."Gone, Gone. Gone" except for the one's that open up Casino's......

Gaston good work with the e-mails to everyone.........

Tiny Tim....I will be VERY surprised if you live to the next Doozie......You need to hire a body guard.......SEE YOU SOON....

Steve my boy and Partner.....keep that Miami bunch in line.........remember tiny is on our team....HOW EVER, SOME TIME'S I WONDER....I have a sneaky suspicion that we will need him next year...

I assure you living till the next Doozie III will not be difficult because I am well loved and guarded by Gaston (a former tough guy who takes care of business without any help from any one...)
I also can take care of myself to the extent needed (Anywhere within range)...

I see the women are now really begging to be part of the Doozie; (they are a 'format committee' responsibility.)

Dawn is on board... or just bored, one of the two!

Everyone can be a part of this and we will find something that will make them feel useful, happy and glad they were a part of this fine event...They must get really drunk and act silly per the format already carved in stone by the indians.

I heard thru the grapevine that anyone who wants to fish as part of the Doozie should plan to fish on Thursday, not Friday... The fishing tourneys are in high demand of boats during May and weekdays may be the only possibility.

AO ANYONE who wants to do this we can make it happen - but we will need a crowd, a number, a response from you... we will not do anything at all about this if no one responds with "YES I WANT TO FISH ON THURSDAY MAY 14"... Once we know how many we can plan it, know how much it will be and all the other details...

I am sure we can borrow some of our filthy rich brother's yachts (Anyone know one besides John 'Scarface' Scarpett'a'? The rest of us are broke)...

Billy Boy;

I don’t know why you’re asking Geronimo for the format, he does not play the game. Although, I know that any suggestion anybody makes will somehow be shot down, by the host, and massaged so as to help who the host wants to win; here’s my suggestion for format anyway:

TWOSOME TEAMS
Hole in one, and double eagle 12 Points
Eagle 10 Points
Birdie 6 Points
Par 3 Points
Bogey 1 Point
Double bogie (minus) -2 points

No handicap, straight point system, one day event for tournament, other days for fun if anybody wants to play more golf.
As I mentioned above, I consider this an exercise in futility, as we’ll end up doing whatever the hell you want, so here’s my contribution.

I say lets just play putt-putt in Stuart ,eat at Royal Castle or Arthur Treacher.....and with all the BS go to dairy farm and toss cow chips....

Gus, I think with the differential in golf prices, we can eat at Royal Castle and Arthur Treacher's. KISS Principle. Keep it ........

God willing I would like to fish on May 14th. I cant coordinate the event but I can present a plan. Have Dannelly be the leader and have him touch base with two of the clubs best fishermen Don Humphries 57 and Gary Thomasson 63 who live in Palm Beach Gardens which isnt that far from Billy's. Both Don and Gary have boats and I think John does as well.

I read Dawn's post and she really did have fun at the dinner and tribute. She's looking forward to attending next year even though Herb follow's her around like a puppy dog.

I have completed my radation treatments, but must be on hormone therpy until June of next year. By that time I will be wearing a 40D cup which will swing Herbs focus on me instead of my cute squaw.

The Senior Citizen, Mr. Ruiz from South Florida has a good idea.......

Manny, your way to cynical... points are great if we know your handicap and we simplify the numbers. Double bogie's = 0, bogie = 1, par = 2, birdie = 3 and eagle = 4......It would be nice if everyone that doesn't hit the ball 400 yds has a chance to win. We know one thing for sure....you will bitch no matter what we do....

What's with you having to run home every year to mommy after one day of golf...tell her to put an extra baby bottle in you bag, so you can suck on it til you fall a sleep.......We always have a team day and a singles day of playing golf, you cry baby. Boy you sure started early this year........

By the way our teams have three men or in your case, three women..........

Get him Stevie................

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/16/2008 04:14:56 By Manny Garcia 68
Billy Boy:

here you go ass wipe, this is from ineternet Stableford point scoring system. We can take the 10 or 12 lowest handicap holes (no par 3s) and everybody gets a stroke on these holes, leave handicaps out of it. Why? You ask, because none of us keep a handicap card, this way it all evens out. We all get strokes on most difficult holes, nobody gets strokes on easy and par 3 holes.

Definition: A Stableford competition is a golf tournament in which the object is to get the highest score. That's because in Stableford, golfers are awarded points based on their scores in relation to a fixed score at each hole. That fixed score can be par, or any number of strokes a tournament committee chooses (6, 8, whatever).
The USGA and R&A define Stableford points in this manner:

• More than 1 over fixed score (or no score returned) - 0 points
• One over fixed score - 1 point
• Fixed score - 2 points
• One under fixed score - 3 points
• Two under fixed score - 4 points
• Three under fixed score - 5 points (plus hole in one)

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournaPosted at 08/16/2008 10:18:48 By steve aguilar Steveaguilar@alltel.net
Dear Manny,

I think for once I'm with you on the Stableford scoring system.. It simplifies everything. It rewards good shots and penalizes you for bad ones. You and my esteemed partner, 'El Oso Grande y Magnifico" are on the same page, the only difference in your views is how many points are awarded for the score on each hole. I believe this is the best way of determining who has the best game.

That being said, we should and will have two days of golf, one to determine the individual honors, and the second and most important day, should be the scramble, or best ball format which allows all players to enjoy the competition, no matter how good or bad their game, and more importantly, to contribute to their team score, Scrambles are big fun for everyone involved, because the scramble format makes every shot by every participant equally important, be it a 270 yard drive or a twenty five foot chip, or a six foot putt.

Scrambles are big fun for all, and if you can't get a two day pass, let me know. I'll call your wife and explain why we need you for more than one day . Don't worry, I won't tell her how you get at the gentlemans club. Show some spine for Gods sake and allow yourself enough time to stick around for the awards ceremony, who knows, you might even enjoy being presented with the third place trophy, although Billy, John, Gaston and Timmy tell me you may end up out of the medals the way their game is improving.

THose you you who want to fish, come a day or two early. For the record,I'm in on any and all fishing expeditions, or on riding around in the boats guzzling beer, and pretending to fish while shooting the shit with Herb and Jerry.

Billy, please start working on Turtle.

Ladies, any and all all of you are not only welcome, but we need your input too.

Mucho Amore!

It sounds to me the way Adams wants it might prohibit the best player from winning. The way Garcia discribed the set up sounds fare. REMEMBER THE BEST PLAYER/TEAM SHOULD ALWAYS WIN!! !!! a handy-cap winner is a looooser.

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/17/2008 12:06:33 By Tim Yero
Now this is what I'm talikng about and have been looking forward to since the day we left Billy's from The Doozie II!!!

Did you all miss what Terry said ? - he said he will now be one of the women but can still fish. He can't organize anything (He forgot what day it was) and is leaving the fishing arrangements up to Don and John... what a great idea!

Gaston mi hermano, do not fret, we have a long way to go... you can pick the team you would like to be on at anytime however this BS will last several months, so you may want to hold off for now.

I understand the 'format' problem and always have... any format is o.k. as long as things are reasonably even, so I will propose the following to the format committee lead by smoking indian and eats-a-lot...

This Doozie should be just as it has been - 2 days of golf (With perhaps adding fishing the day before if John and Don get off their duffs and get this going)...

Friday should be a scramble ... why?
A scamble is a group activity where players with a variety of skills (or lack thereof) can play and have a good time - laugh, and maybe win a trophy.

Saturday will be the individual score, the winner is the best that day... but how can we make this even? There has to be be some type of handicap for everyone. It is just plain not fair to have good and not-good players playing against each other for the same prize...

A straight up event, (which is not the purpose nor intent of the Doozie) - is if we wanted to know who the best golfer in the group is - for myself, I could give a rats ass who is the best. Give me 5 minutes with anyone on a practice tee, and a putting green - it would be easy to see who 'should' be the best.

BUT golf is a game - so know one knows when they will be better than someone else - on any given day. or course...

The 'points' system Billy proposes and was used last year is scored exactly the same way as everyone elses ideas... the truth is you score golf one shot at a time, add them up at the end -the lowest total wins - so assigning any points (whether they are 1 point or 10 points for a eagle) makes no difference... in our case (From what I've seen) there is no one with much of an eagle capability anyway (unless they get really lucky...)...

The bottom line is how do we do the handicapping ? - some say they do not 'keep their scores' so they don't know? Well, this is the real BS of the whole format statements. Anyone who plays golf knows what they should be able to shoot for a score.

So, the deal is this as I see it - everyone should honestly say what they should shoot around Doozie III time. We are all brothers and should be able to trust the word of another. The last Doozie was not that far off from what everyone said and most were "OVER" what they said.

Those that were over is not the fault of the handicap, it is because most could not do as well as they thought they would, for whatever reason - That is golf.

I think by this time we all know how each of us play... with some practice we all get better (maybe)... We should not be concerned about sandbagging - we can always disqualify anyone we think are liars (of which we have not had any so far)... If someone happens to shoot a few shots better than you honestly expect - GOOD FOR THEM -that is what golf is about!

It never matters how points are assigned and I for one do not care... as long as we go by what we shoot, there is nothing wrong.

AND - I think Chief of Format and Eats-A-Lot should make the rule exception that the number of clubs in anyones bag is waived for the Doozie III - It should be O.K. for the Doozie - Everyone travels to the Doozie and may bring extra clubs; so they should all be allowed to stay in the bag during play...

Manny

I'm really impressed that you put "Pretty Boy Ruiz" in his place .... The ones that don't realize all of this foreplay is nothing but prep for the real show probably wouldn't have any fun at the "Doozie" anyway.

Remember, we were always strong of MIND, strong at HEART and strong at PLAY as a STAG.

Manny, you and I are basically are talking about the same thing......when it comes to scoring. It will all work out ...boy, I thought having a committee making all the decisions would make everything easy ......

Ridge Runner Jerry.......I will forgive you my Brother of the hills way up there and over younder are nothing but cow pastures. You are a man of knowledge when it comes to golf. I know you have never played....,but one could get hurt getting in the middle of a golf bet.

Getting the bet and strokes right is half the fun of a golf game.....Has anyone ever had a golf bet that you didn't haggle over how much money or how many strokes your were giving or getting...

Robert....will you please give a little more details on who you are...I think you must be related to Manny......if not you can take his place, by the time the Doozie rolls around he will say he's not going to play anyway.....He has long track record of getting piss off at everything and anything....Anytime Manny doesn't win it's someone else's fault.......I still love you Geronimo....*&*^%%$#@*, But Aggie beat your butt fair and square........

Speaking of fair, there is nothing fair about a 25 handicapper playing a 5 handicapper even.......We need to give everyone a chance to win period.

How many of you guys remember Herb Stebbins wanting to play or should I say wanting to learn to play golf.....Well, I bought him a used set of clubs and I believe he tried once or twice to play and then he quit...Saying "my work keeps me too busy" "I don't have time to learn"...he has no time, because....He's to busy chasing ...."-----"...... balls.

I figured if Timmy can write a book, so could I......

"Happy days are here again"

Billy, I will not get in the way of a Golf Bet, if I can help it ! But, if you guys take 8 or 9 months just to decide scoring, I don't need to play. All I need is to learn how to haggle with this crap. The fishing and the golf are somewhat dependant on the weather.. ... the gentlemen's club is not. RAVE on Brothers !! I like the fishing thoughts ! John and Don are you there?

I went to Gables and graduated in 69. Last name is Allen. My point is handy capping is punishing the good player. Why not just let them use one arm. You see my point. The best player should win. I don't know Garcia but from reading the site see that he can really drive well. That would be like making him drive with a putter.
All I'm saying is when someone practices alot and is committed to the game then don't knock him or her down a notch by handy-capping them.

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/17/2008 04:54:15 By Chi-Rod-Ruiz
Allen, thank for posting and welcome to the site....I'm new at this game of golf and really enjoy playing.....driving the ball is good ...but you still have to put it in that cup....Garcia and Aggie can drive the ball a mile or more ....but not always does it say, you are the best player..Day can drive it but can't win ...so those that make him the better player??????????

Billy Boy:

You are so full of shit. The last format I sent you would be OK for everybody, any body can get an ace or an eagle in any given day, you don't have to be Tiger. Now, you have to make that count big, otherwise it's not golf, it's BILLY BALL. Too much of an investment, specially time wise to go to Pt. Saint Lucy and play BILLY BALL. So get your doodoo together, and worry about your play, and not everyone else.

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/18/2008 07:06:12 By Tim Yero
Robert - you are full of it and your ideas suck... the longest driver is not Manny 'always' anyway - (we all have our moments) and driving is only one part of the game anyway (It is the total score - the 'last shot' counts and could be a 6" putt)...

Secondly - casual golf is always a player handicapped game (if we just want to see who is the best golfer - we watch TV and watch Tiger)...

A handicap is not penalizing the good golfer (or the golfer with a 'lower' handicap)... it is to make the match a game... besides, we do not have anyone that is below really a 15 handicap and most are 20+... Those who talk a lot about straight up think they will win because they are better - a good attitude to have but not in a group event with a variety of players with different skill levels.

Looks like Geronimo is gone for the rest of the Summer... There is no such thing as Billy ball.
Next Doozie - We should really make a few wagers (make a bet or two) on ourselves if we really think we can win... money talks, BS walks. Straight up bets only, no strokes given... got balls then go on your own - the event is a group participation event, not an individual quest for glory... Good luck to all, not just one.

Please DO NOT WAIT TO THE LAST MINUTE TO CONFIM THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE THAT ARE INTRESTED IN THE TRIP...... give me some feed back ON ALL OF THE ABOVE......Scott will reserve a time slot for us as soon as I have a number......I will send in a $250 deposit as soon as you guys get a count.

Tim, any Cigar he has had over a week, has probably dried out by now. When you all are visiting, please take a few hours and explain to him how a Humidor works.

FISHING AT THE DOOZIE:
Those of you that had planned on fishing at the Doozie, look no further.
You have an untapped resource right within the Club. He would be to humble to admit this but Billy Adams is a great fishing guide.
He is known as "King Mackerel" within the Sport Fishing Community. I'm not sure what his half day rate is but he usually will throw in 1 Italian Sub Sandwich, chips of your choice and 2 bottles of Miller Light Beer. If you want Provo lone cheese on the sandwich, there will be an additional charge of 50 cents.
He is also known for his prowess with Barracuda.
Another perk worth considering is clean-up and filleting/disposing of trash fish. This will be complete before you hit the dock.
Hope this is helpful.

The best fisherman in the Club is Don H and I note that he wishes us a good tournment which I hope doesnt indicate that he's not interested in joining us. Like me Don is a flats fisherman which I'd rather do than go out and run around the ocean for hours for a dolphin.

REGARDING FISHING AT DOOZIE III

I love fishing but fishing from a big sport fisherman with heavy tackle is not an outing I would be interested in.

I really enjoy light tackle fishing from a smaller boat. And, I agree, Don H. is an exceptional angler.

How many out there would be interested in getting something going on in-shore fishing? Either trying to get some brothers to trailer their small rigs to the Doozie or making arrangements with local guides. If you are interested, post something on this thread. To make it easy: #1 I want to fish in a small boat with a guide, #2 I want to fish in another brother's boat, #3 I am willing to trailer my boat to the Doozie, #4 fishing sucks, this is a golf tournament and I ain't interested in having my hands and cute golfing outfit smell like no stinkin' fish!!!

I would like to fish at the Doozie but it isn't essential. When my fishing club was using golf tournaments as fund raisers I discovered I could participate as a non-golfer and have great fun. As club treasurer I helped with the money and prizes at the course and then rode around in a cart doing things like: watching the selected par 3 hole for the big $ hole-in-one prize (usually a $10,000 or $20,000 prize backed by an insurance contract), measuring the distance for the "closest to the pin" prize, watching for the winner of the "worst shot of the tournament", delivering my bottle of rum and coke to pour one for anonther non-golfer that was helping out, etc. Most of those tournament were day-time tournaments but we had several night-time tournaments on an unlighted course using balls and pins that glowed in the dark. I enjoyed both but remembering the night-time tournaments brings the bigger smiles. Maybe it has something to do with "night-time drinking is more fun than day-time drinking".

However, I must admit that my most enjoyable tournament tasks included participating in the brothership and enjoying a few drinks with my buddies, directing the "drink girls" to the golfers that needed a refill or another brew, and, my all-time favorite assignment, escorting the "lick my bare nipple after the shot of your choice" girls to their next customer. I thought I was so popular because of my personality until I observed that whoever had escort responsibility was always the most "in-demand" member helping with the tournament.

Herb

Tell the whole story if your going to tell it....I took Herb out fishing on one of his visits to my home....A very short fishing trip, we passed over a reef ...I hooked into a large fish, so I gave the rod to Herb....This man knows nothing about fishing and I mean nothing....He landed the fish and was so excited and happy..I said will we might as well go in . I told him it was a king fish.... I told him a week later that what he caught was a Barracuda....... He said "OH THAT'S WHY YOU WERE JUMPING ALL OVER THE BOAT WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN"....I just didn't have the heart to tell him at the time what it really was. .....AND...I'M STILL LAUGHING......Thanks Herb.....almost as bad as your golfing........

I'm in for fishing and or cruising the waters in any form. The close quarters of being on a boat and out on the water adds immeasurably to bonding with the brothers. Beer and sunshine only further add to the mix. I want to be a part of any boating and or fishing that takes place. Count (oops that word again) me in, whether it be on a paid expedition or on a brothers boat.

Let's party on the water and on the links.
Much Love,
Steve Aguilar

PS
If Herb fishes like he cooks chile, Billy is lucky he did not land a big morray eel and pull him into the boat like my brother Frank did back in the early sixties when we were fishing in a fourteen foot boston whaler.

Maybe Herb should 'pilot' the boat and forget the fishing... and please NO ONE ask him anything about his "fantastic" fish dip - he may go on and on for another hour or two... FYI: it is worse than his chili!

Where the hell is John Scopetta? The worlds best fisherman? John is an All American in sveveral sports and a World Class fisherman (almost as famous as T Grant - according to... T Grant):} Come on Johnny; lead the way for all the fishing wanna bees... you are in a class of your own and we need your highly respected input (and the only one with a practice tee on his boat.)!

Tim I would strongly suggest you check the Belize Fishing site to the left and you will see my talents...in fact it was John S. that confirmed I had a world record. The smucks in Belize say they Fedexed me the line to submit to the officials but I never got the package. So I figured they never sent it in the first place. I would go to Belize anytime as it is a place where you catch fish and have a fun time to boot. If i had a choice i would rather fish with Don and pay expenses than hire an ocean guide who will drive me around the ocean to site see. Don and I will catch fish but he doesnt clean fish....spoiled

Terry, it sounds like you and Don really know your stuff. I finally realized after your post what the end game is in fishing. Up to this point I thought it was an exercise in dragging dead fish through the water while eating Italian Sub Sandwiches and drinking Miller Lite Bear.
Boy...you learn something everyday.

Tim, Lucy said thanks for the complement on the fish dip.

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/22/2008 11:30:33 By Don H.
I'm all for a liitle get together for a fishing trip to coincide with the Doozie. I've got a 20 ft. Pathfinder with a four stroke 150 ( no smoke Tim) and can take two or maybe three additional "anglers". Use that term loosely as you guys use " golfers" :-). There are several possibilites for putting us on some fish subject to the weather. I prefer to put in at Manatee Pocket/St. Lucie Inlet only because I know something of that area. There's a couple of near shore reefs that usually produce, maybe some cobia, big snook, 'cudas, snapper, grouper, sharks, etc. Inshore flats fishing can be a little tediuos for some.I can provide the tackle for my boat, no problem. We might even get Jim Kavney to break loose and come up.
Set it up John D. Terry, I'll furnish the bottle.

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/22/2008 02:06:34 By Tim Yero
Terry is the Stags Club God of the Fish as well as Superman. No other Stag lays claim to such records that have set the highest standards for us all.

Billy, Gaston and/or John: I don't know about fishing too much - so I need to know if 1 pound of canned tuna is enough to post as a world record? Terry sets the standard for us all and has a similar record (and he is one of my idols.)
Because of "Fay" I have several new cans (solid white, some with oil, some dry) - Do you think my chance at a record would be any where close to Terry's?

Don, since I can't tie a good knot...i want to be on your boat..if we can get Jim also...who will out fish us...the boys in Flamingo hired a $600 guide to try to stop us and it almost worked. Gastonnnn and his yo yo did alright

Sounds like the fishing will be all the 50's guys in one boat ! I was hoping to have a mixture of Brothers in the boat I mooched a ride in ! Gaston and his yo yo would be a welcome addition !

As Manny would say, a whole lota BS before the event begins. I couldn't help but comment on the fishing for the next Doozie. Sorry I missed the golf but that red neck in Kentucky better be hitting those apples because the young brothers will bring some new faces to the golf course next year!! PJ Johnstone and I just got off the courses in Cashiers, NC, Guston's favorite area to play and PJ has his game together. Now I don't know if we can get him to the Doozie but the pro hitting apples will have a real linebacker to play against!!
Back to fishing, the only guy that can fish in the older crowd is Don H. He is without a doubt the best fisherman in the South Fl. area. He has his own boat and know when and where to go. I am talking from experience please see Pictures of Today Two. John S., Gus and I did not have a boat so we had to rent one but the pictures will speak for themselves.
John D. and Jim K. will show up if fishing is in the program, both good fisherman in their own right but Don H. is the man for fishing.
Enjoy the chatter and God Bless Billy for putting this on each year, he is truly a saint!!

RE: FISHING AT DOOZIE III

Don, I am very pleased you are willing to trailer your Pathfinder to the Doozie. I will plan on trailering my 16' Action Craft flats boat to the Doozie. The Action Craft works best with two anglers but for the Doozie we will work it out with me and two other anglers. I don't know anythhing about the area wo I will probably shadow you.

Jim, are you listening in? I hope you can join us.

Ray Thaler, are you interested in fishing the Doozie?

Tim, I don't see why you don't submit your can of tuna to the IGFA to be considered for a record. Your "catch" has about the same chance as Terry's has of being recognized and it takes about the same level of angler skill as Terry's Golith Grouper did. Terry, I am just ragging on you a bit. All your brothers know your extraordinary proven angling talent regardless of whether you are fishing with 2 pound test or stand-up 130 pound tackle. Just about anyone can be a "cranker", the real angling talent is someone like Don that can put you on the fish.

Bob, what is the Sapphire Valley area just outside Cashiers, NC like now? The last time I was there it was thriving in the summer with families on vacation. Winter was just the opposite, almost no visitors, just local year around folks. However, I understand Sapphire Valley now has winter time activities and it is a year-around tourist area. I have a piece of property in Sapphire Valley I want to sell. We used to stay in Cashiers for several weeks every year but have not visited the area for many years. The property is a great home site. Heavily wooded, with a trickle of a creek, on a mountain at about 3300', about 150' deep and 300' road frontage. I bought the property intending to build on it but that dream has gone into the "ain't never going to happen" storage closet. Bob, will you be fishing with the brothers at the Doozie?

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/23/2008 05:24:40 By Don H.
I would love to have Gaston on my sled, but please no yo-yos. Don't think the locals would ever let me launch my boat again.:-)

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/24/2008 09:07:03 By Don H.
If this fishing expedition comes together sure hope it isn't on a weekend. They are murder for boating/fishing due to all the traffic on the water. There can be 20-30 boats on the good spots.Ugh!

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/24/2008 11:58:52 By Tim Yero
The Doozie III looks like it is progressing fantastic! O.K. so let's stop the fooling around and set it (again)...

FISHING WILL BE THURSDAY MAY 14 2009

FRIDAY SPECIAL VENUE DINNER TO HONOR ALL OF OUR STAGS BROTHERS.

SATURDAY - GOLF (TEAM SCRAMBLE) AND DINNER TOGETHER

SUNDAY - Golf (MATCHES INDIVIDUAL SCORES), Awards and se' la' vie'...

We should have known that fishing would be a greater interest than golf to our older brothers. We cannot apologize (too late) but we can try and make it up. Us younger guys forgot that golf was not invented (recognized) until the late 1800's when you guys were at Gables so you had to fish instead.

So now we can have a great group and mixer for everyone... Fishing, Golf, Eating and Drinking - All in honor of all the Brothers of Stags... The DOOZIE III - Port St Lucie May 14, 15,16,17 2009...

Post your approval and let us know you plan on being there. We have a lot of coordination to do (and we understand some things may change along the way)... but CHIME IN EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO BE THERE... STAY TUNED FOR THE ARRANGEMENTS AND SO MANY DETAILS THAT YU WILL NEED ANOTHER COMPUTER TO STORE IT ALL!<<<

PS Someone said Don H is the best fisherman... maybe we need awards for the fishing results - no rules, just drop your bait in and see what you end up with... Catagories: Most fish poundage(some sort of minimum per fish is necesssay?), Biggest fish, Ugliest fish may be good?

Tim

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/24/2008 03:15:20 By Don H.
We've tried fishing contests. They don't work. Can't get the rules straight, can't keep some of the fish, some aren't edible, unnessary killing fish, should have seen the one that got away......Let's just have fun. We might not even catch a fish. Most likely there will be plenty of fish tales around the dinner table. Kinda' sounds like the golf tournament from what I've read.
Thursday on the water sounds good to me.

For the enjoyment of all fishermen on Thursday May 14th... no contest... just hook'm and tell your stories later... sounds great to me...

(I'm sure someone has a camera phone for verifying the 'questioniable fish stories'!)... good enough...

Best story may get something out of the ordinary as far as an award but we don't know what that may be - could be anything, as it should be!

How's that Mr. D?

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/25/2008 01:00:13 By jscopetta
Unfortunately for the fishing hopefuls out there the 68 and friends machine also has some fishing power and we will be making arrangements to compete for those trophies that Billy is kind enough to hand out every year.
Our track record in fishing is impeccable as confirmed by the pictures from Belize and other outings.
I think mixing the fishing with private boats and charter boats is smart, since is difficult to bring boats all the way to up to st lucy for one day. Is more effective for those not from the area that whish to do serious fishing wich beats sitting in the hot sun listening to the same old stories about the glory days that we have heard a thousand times before.
In conclusion it would be great if we got some additional participation in the golf is getting boring defeating the same old farts over and over again.

John and the 68 machine.

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/25/2008 02:46:05 By Tim Yero
From what I have heard my esteemed brother and All American John S, you have plenty of room for most traveling brothers to stay in hteir own private suites aboard your huge yacht for the entire weekend (with meals, laundry services and shopping mall available!) ... for the golfers, there is a practice tee and a new large practice putting green jut installed in some of the spare space...

It's fishing AND golf Doozie III... neither of which is boring... or should not be!

You da man!

John S....upgrade your glue...and you can buy it cheaper from your doctor friend in Belize...the 50's guys swamped you in Belize (including a World Record) and the first day in Flamingo...then you $$$$$ guys hired a guide for the second time...hell if you didnt buy the guide you probably would have gone to fish market and bought your fish

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/26/2008 06:49:26 By Tim Yero
Terry: Who will be 'the guide' that will show the 'younstas' all the good fishin' spots at the Doozie III... ??? Any suggestions? Volunteers?

What world record can be set next May 14th? The last I heard, a few weeks ago Herb caught a monster Barracuda (He thought it might be a skinny tuna until Billy told him otherwise)!! Thrilling to say the least.

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/26/2008 08:54:05 By jscopetta
Terry, if you can think back to the hot day in the fallen wires next to
Belize dump we shouted from our boat, Let it go!!! is only a baby Goliath a protected species in the US and many other countries. Is equivalent to blasting a flamingo with double OT buckshot or shooting a baby deer with a 30/30 at 20 yards using a scope. I would keep that record under the table.
I will be the first to admit that you guys the 56 sixers and the Yogi and Tiger teams in golf are worthie challengers for the 68 and friends machine. But, if you analyze all the different challenges we have had between brothers, there is one consistency the 68 machine is always the team to beat and for you guys that is mostly wishful thinking.

John and the boys from the 68 machine.

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/26/2008 09:31:47 By Terrence W. Grant
The only machine you guys of 1968 have is one you bought at Brookstone's or your local Adult Toys store. John you were so impressed with my record that you went home and checked on your puter and called me to tell me that I did in fact have the record for 8 pound test. It wasn't the size of the fish it was the "talent" it took to land it on 8 pound test and a rusty reel and broken rod. I think in fact you brought your own rods all the way from Miami. I used the local crap.

FMI: Will there be Flamingo hunting in Pt St Lucie? I think it could work out o.k - I don't fish but I am a pretty accurate shot...!

PS Maybe we should let Gaston know not to wear those pink golf shorts again... he could be mistaken for an open target... !

You guys are killing me, my stomach hurts from laughing so hard...

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/27/2008 07:36:49 By Tim Yero
I may be able to bring some flamingos with me from the Homosassa Wildlife Park down the street from my house; they have a huge flock and could probably spare a few... maybe the Miami boys can stop by Hialeah race track and get some (I know it is not open but I think it's still there... the Miami boys will know)...

Rules of Flamingo hunting should include NO buckshot as John S suggested... maybe the Miami boys could bring a few of their questioniable automatic 22 pistols to make it more challenging?

I suggest any shot from less than 100 yards is disqualified. (This will give Gaston a chance to live a day longer!)...

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/27/2008 11:14:51 By Tim Yero
According to Yahoo and Google, Flamingo yard shooting was invented in the early 1700's in the backwoods of Tennessee and Kentucky... That's when when the men were men and the women were too (Some still are and still live there). This is also why all the flamingos moved to the Miami area of Florida, some in the 50's but mainly in the early 60's... who would have guessed?

Billy: can you find out from city hall how much a residential shooting license is in Pt St Lucie ? I'll chip in as always... I have some EPA, DEA, and Immigration contacts to see if a few missing flamingos would be a problem.

If this does not work out - I am sure there will be some other moving targets for all of us to aim at on your patio, as there always has been in the past...

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/27/2008 11:46:24 By Jerry '65
We still have the flamingos in Tenn. Though not as many as in the 50's. They travel from yard to yard with a sign that says "You have been flocked !" You can't just shoot them, you have to pay a sum of money to have the flocker remove them . If you leave them intact for a long while then everyone knows you are a cheap flockee !!

I spoke to my drinking, golfing and fishing buddy Dr. Merel, fondly know as "Doc" about your problems. I believe you played a round of golf with him. He said he has a friend who is willing to take on an "indigent patient", as a favor. He will give his secretary your name.

Call Dr. Joseph Taub (Phyciatrist & Podiatrist) at 772-283-3800. They are expecting your call.

If I can be any further help, please call me.

Is good to see football season and Christmas are much less in the limelight than the Doozy, is finally gaining its true status.

Fishing with the fifties guys is great fun they are very competitive when they can remember where their sandwiches are???? And what they are doing out there in the hot sun. In true fashion they try to stack the deck in their favor and when the get whooped they run for cover behind the rulebook. Or better said their rulebook.

In Belize, Terry landed the baby Goliath and the fat guide ate the whole god dam thing look at his picture so this is why it did not qualify for the world record. Jim and Don stay inshore because they get seasick, meanwhile they have us run around in these polluted rivers terrified of Amebas that swim up your pee stream and get in your genitals, looking for snook that don’t exist and cubera snappers that are only there during spawning season. We considered harpooning Manatees, is legal down there and don’t worry about them as an endangered species they are all in Belize, a shitload of them!!!!

We engineered our own destiny and head offshore to the blue water with and old 6/0 senator real that had spliced line on it and with no bait. We retaliate by catching our own bait wrigging our trolling combo and land a monster king 50# plus and a 5 pound yellowtail that we used for bait, while loosing two other giant groupers to the rocks because of the faulty gear and a guide that was soooo stoned on pot when I told him to go left he stopped the boat. It was a true Stags adventure, one for the ages.

John and the 68 machine

Billster: Do you know if Doc has any references for a real good and reasonable proctologist?... we might want to add him to a foresome in the future!

and, please fill me in on what John S was talking about (or anyone for that matter)... he is apparently a technical fishman and I don't get the lingo with all the brand names thrown in... I am familiar only with the fishing terms "large hook" "high-test line" "big rod" and a few other more minor ones but his explanations escape me..

OK 68 machine, I'm warming up. Just got back from a three hour trip on the water, 20 snook to 20 pounds, three gags and a nice 21 pound goliath. Funny, this liitle goliath looked about twice the size the one Terry wrestled aboard in Belize.
The best part of Belize trip was the house painter/taxi driver doctor on the weekends who sold Viagra.

Re: DOOZIE III - 2009 - Stags Memorial Golf TournamentPosted at 08/28/2008 02:21:55 By Tim Yero
Dear Hall Monitor: Do you have a pass?

The word 'Proctologist' in itself should be far above and unfamiliar to most children. I did not even know it myself until I was 45 (and have fortunately/unfortunately ever since)...

How did we get from Flamingos and fishing and golf to such a awkwardly dumb comment anyway?

In answer, to solve the problem you have that I do not, please let me know the parents name and number of any 'children' offended. I have a parental guide book regarding how to discipline and control your own children (Chapter 1 explains in detail why it would be the parents own fault if this occurs, not the site) - which I agree with...

Furthermore, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the word nor a Doctor being a Proctologist (whether they play golf or fish or not)... Everyone knows most Doctors that are messed up are Pyschiatrist or Dentist (Kids seem to already know this too!)...

Wake up youngstas,
We are coming to DoozieIII Loaded For Bear ready willing and able to stomp your ass dry in a mudpuddle.

Be it golf, either inshore or out in the deep water type fishing, -ucking, drinking or tiddlywinks, your ass is grass and your elders are the lawnmower. Except of course for Gaston whose prowess between the sheets is legendary and his four iron shots are regularly featured on CNN highlight reels and SportCenter's play of the day, and who I've heard is a much better angler than John, Manny , or any of the MMA (Miami Mystery Math crowd in case anyone does not remember the acronym).

Jeronimo, get your thoroughly whupped ass back in the teepee, and instead of smoking that wampum, which so obviously clouds your brain, I recommend you practice your golf stroke . It left much to be desired at last years tournament, and the whining about who you were paired with, and how it had a negative effect on your ability to make shots was truly pathetic.

Realize this, and may it strike fear in your hearts. My partner Billy, El OSO Dorado has healed, and will be back to terrorize you on the links. Timmy, has joined a club and has assured me his game will be polished and practiced and in fine form. We have a legendary crew of elders coming in to give the yougstas fishing lessons including several word records holders.

My recommendation to you is bring lots of strong spirits to soothe the agony of defeat.

Janet,
If you are reading this site believe you me, we would love to have you join this tournament and event.

Buckbean,
We are going fishing . Alright. Please call me soon you hillbilly.

Mucho Amore to all the Stags Brothers and family,
Steve Aguilar

Billy and Tim are playing together at one of Tim's club courses this weekend (The easy one)...

Billy has played several days a week over the last few weeks and is recovering well, says he feels great, is hitting the ball good, is winning all his bets in Southern Canada (aka Pt St Lucie). According to Billy, he will whip Tim's ass up, beat him to a pulp, and take his wallet...

Tim has played just 3 times since the Doozie and not even once in the last 6 weeks, (due to a grinding work schedule and a recent knee arthritis problem). This he says is all well enough to play well enough to beat anyone (Including the Billster).

Tim also said the only way he could be beat by Billy was if he was in a giving mood and let Billy win. He stated recently, he would not give an inch, any putts, nor put up with any other distractions.

Place your bets here... and stay tuned for the results on Monday...
